• 2’ x 6’ is small and portable. Ideally placed near new products inside a store or the edge of a table when used indoors.
• 3’ x 2’ is a size that can be easily held. This works great if you want a small backdrop or want to welcome a person.
• 3’ x 6’ is the most common banner size. Whether used horizontally or vertically, this size combines visibility and portability.
• 4’ x 6’ is a good size to use for visibility in fairs, tradeshows, and conventions.

Create a Story With Two Sides

Are you fine with the front or do you want your message seen from both sides? Vinyl banners can be printed on one or both sides of the material. Choose double-sided printing if you’ll be displaying the banner on a clear surface such as glass windows, or hanging it outdoors. This way people can see your message from any direction.

Mount ‘Em Where You Want ‘Em

Choose from three types of mounting options. Your choice will depend on how and where you’ll place your vinyl posters.

Grommet only Nickel grommets (aka eyelets) are fastened around the edges or on the corners of your banner. This is the most popular and convenient way to hang vinyl banners. Add this if you need to use twist ties to attach your banner to a stand or to the wall.

Hem and Grommets With hems, the banner edges are folded over and heat welded to reinforce sides and help your banner maintain its shape. Hemming prevents your vinyl poster material from fraying. Combined with the use of grommets, these are recommended for outdoor banners.

Pole Pockets Banner edges are folded over and heat welded to form a pocket. These allow poles or rope to be inserted into your banner, carrying its weight. Pole pockets can reduce creases and give a solid tensioned appearance.

Are vinyl banners waterproof?

Yes, they are. All three vinyl banner materials we use, 9 oz. mesh, 13 oz. standard, and 15 oz. premium, are waterproof. They can be displayed outdoors for years.

What are wind slits? What are those used for?

Wind slits are crescent-shaped cuts placed on vinyl banners to allow wind to pass through. These are used to reduce the wind load on the banner, especially in against strong wind gusts.

I want strong and reinforced edges, what should I choose?

For strong and reinforced edges, we recommend combining hem and grommets . Hemmings are heat welded to help maintain your banner’s shape, while grommets have plastic or metal rings placed along the lining of the banner’s holes to ensure that weight is evenly distributed in each corner. You can use ropes, zip ties, or hanging clips to put through each grommet to install your banner easily.

What finish would you recommend to ensure that it does not fade too soon when it is exposed to direct sunlight?

If you want your banner to last for many years, we suggest a matte finish. That is because matte finishes have great visibility even when exposed to direct sunlight. They are also very durable and can last for 3-5 years.
